Builders cleaning is a detailed clean of a new build, renovation or fit-out after construction. It removes construction dust, stickers and unwanted paint, silicone and cement residue where safe for each material and finish, revealing the clean appearance of newly installed surfaces.
Do you provide both commercial and residential builders cleaning?
Yes. We provide builders cleaning for commercial construction and fit-outs as well as residential new builds and renovations.
What is the difference between a bulk clean and a final handover clean?
A bulk clean is completed at an earlier stage to reduce construction dust and build-up before final detailing. It clears mess left by trades and excess dust from plastering and painting, creating a cleaner environment for the building crew to regroup and focus. Not every project requires a bulk clean; it depends on how the project progresses. The final clean is completed once construction work is finished and involves detailed cleaning in preparation for handover.
How do you clean windows on a construction site?
We first clean the joinery, opening the windows to clean the jambs, runners and tracks. We then clean the glass using suitable methods to remove stickers, silicone, paint and cement splashes. For high-level windows, we also offer a pure-water window-cleaning system.
Do you remove building waste and floor coverings?
Yes, we remove all floor coverings and dispose of the waste in the skip bin provided. Please let us know during pricing so we can include this in your quote.
When should the final builders cleaning be scheduled?
When all trades have completed their work and touch-ups, and the project is close to handover.
How does pricing work?
Send us your floor plans to get started, and we can provide cleaning costs as you price your projects. Pricing depends on the project size and stage, site condition and services required. For transparency, we provide square metre rates, travel charges and hourly rates, including cleaning materials and equipment. As we get to know your construction company, we become familiar with your sites and requirements, making the process more routine.
